The list of the attractions in Lithuania is really varied: from historical patrimony of the country, reflected in the architecture and monuments of such cities as Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda to beautiful natural landscapes. The country is worth visited, as UNESCO has inscribed four Lithuanian sites in the World Heritage List. They are Curonian Spit, Kernavė Archaeological Site (Cultural Reserve of Kernave), Struve Geodetic Arc, Vilnius Historic Centre. Lithuania is usually called the country of castles, clear blue lakes, forests, green hills, and sand dunes, located along the Baltic shore. It should be said that Lithuania is historically valued, but yet undiscovered Baltic country, characterized as rapidly rising travel destination.
